Composer, set designer and film and musical show director, born in 1939 in Besançon.
With a diploma in the sciences (maths, terrestrial physics, etc.), Pierre-Alain Jaffrennou studied at the Conservatoire de Besançon, as well as th Paris Conservatory in the electro-acoustic class of Pierre Schaeffer.

Joëlle Léandre studied the double bass with Pierre Delescluse in Aix en Provence before taking advanced classes at the Paris Conservatory. She was greatly inspired by concerts of free jazz and continued her musical discoveries in the USA after having received a bursary from the Center for Creative and Performing Arts of Buffalo (1976). She steeped herself in Afro-American and minimalist music, and met Fred Hopkins, Leroy Jenkins, Butch Morris and John Cage. She is also a laureate of the Villa Medici ‘fuori-i-muri’ (1981), the DAAD of Berlin (1990) and the Villa Kujoyama of Kyoto (1998).

Claude Ledoux studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and music at the Royal Liège Conservatory in Belgium. In 1980 came a decisive meeting with Tristan Murail. Claude Ledoux obtained a masters degree in music sciences at Liège University after following classes in musical analysis with Célestin Deliège and in composition with Frédéric Rzewski, Philippe Boesmans and Henri Pousseur.

A guitarist and composer, Bruno Letort published, in the early 1980s, a series of albums on the fringes of jazz and rock while collaborating with very many musicians from the jazz and improvised music scenes. He created his own label, Cube Music, then founded the label Signature for Radio France. A producer for France Musique, he created Tapage nocturne, a broadcast devoted to inventive forms of music.

From all this work, he integrated into his musical syntax the acoustic properties of sound materials and made the computer a veritable tool for musical composition.

At first an autodidact, Lionel Marchetti subsequently explored the musique concrète repertory with Xavier Garcia, a composer and musician with Arfi (Imaginary Folklore Research Association).
He composes in the studios of the GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales), the GMVL (Groupe Musiques Vivantes de Lyon), La Muse en Circuit, Cesaré in Rheims, as well as in his own studio. With the artiste Olivier Capparos, he prepares creative radiophonic workshops for France Culture. The two composers have collaborated in this way notably on Kitty Hawk, le sable et le vent, first performed at the Grand Théâtre in Rheims in 2008, and Le puits et la dune, first performed on France Culture in 2014.
