Annette VANDE GORNE
A Belgian composer born January 6, 1946 in Charleroi (Belgium).
Annette Vande Gorne studied music at the Royal Conservatories of Mons and Brussels, as well as the teachings of the composer Jean Absil. She discovered acousmatic music at a course in France and immediately realised, through the works of François Bayle and Pierre Henry, the potential within this art. She completed her training in musicology at the University of Brussels and in electroacoustic composition at the Paris Conservatory with Guy Reibel and Pierre Schaeffer.

A musicologist by training, Bernard Fort was the co-founder in 1976 of the GMVL (Groupe de Musiques Vivantes de Lyon), a studio of acousmatic music. Laureate of Bourges Prizes in 1981 (Le Tombeau de William Byrd) and in 1993 (12 Haïku and L’impatience des limites), of the Villa Medici Fuori-i-muri Prize in 1996 as well as of the Chasseurs de Sons Prize of France Culture in 1994, 1995 and 1997, he composes mainly acousmatic music.

After studying singing and the classical guitar David Jisse began a career as an author-composer-performer, creating, with Dominique Marge, the duet ‘David and Dominique’. In 1973 he met Luc Ferrari, discovered electroacoustic music composition and trained in studio work, in experimental music and in radiophonic art.
He has composed for the stage, notably for the director Régis Santon, yet also for television and the cinema, being a close collaborator of directors such as Bernard Dartigues, Gérard Maro, Youri and Liliane de Kermadec. Intimately aware of the sound world about us, he also makes a point of sharing his unusual aural perception of our environment, notably in concerts with headphones.
Jean-Jacques DI TUCCI
A French composer born February 25, 1958 in Montpellier.
After studying music at the Montpellier Conservatory, Jean-Jacques Di Tucci became a piano teacher and a pianist, notably with the ensemble Diagonales. Later (1992-1995) he completed his training at the Lyons Conservatory in the composition classes of Gilbert Amy and those of musical analysis with Robert Pascal.
Pierre Alain JAFFRENNOU
Composer, set designer and film and musical show director, born in 1939 in Besançon.
With a diploma in the sciences (maths, terrestrial physics, etc.), Pierre-Alain Jaffrennou studied at the Conservatoire de Besançon, as well as th Paris Conservatory in the electro-acoustic class of Pierre Schaeffer.
A French composer born December 18, 1948 in La Tour du Pin.
With a diploma in art history, sociology and education sciences at Lyons University, James Giroudon studied music with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel at the Paris Conservatory. Committed to new technologies, he founded the Grame, a national centre for music creation, with Pierre-Alain Jaffrennou in Lyons in 1981 and was jointly in charge of its management and international development. It was with Jaffrennou that he also created, in 1992, the festival Musiques en Scènes, a multidisciplinary event and showcase for new tools for creation and computerised instrument making that has been biennial since 2002.

Bernard Foccroulle studied the organ at the Royal Liège Conservatory and took advanced classes notably with Xavier Darasse and Gustav Leonhardt. Passionately interested in both baroque and contemporary music, he notably recorded the organ works of Bach, Buxtehude and premiered the music of composers such as Philippe Boesmans, Brian Ferneyhough, Betsy Jolas, Xavier Darasse, Jonathan Harvey and Pascal Dusapin.

A pianist by training, Joanna Bruzdowicz studied composition with Kazimierz Sikorski at the Higher Music School in Warsaw, then in Paris, notably with Nadia Boulanger and Olivier Messiaen. She completed her itinerary at the GRM and the Sorbonne, where she presented a doctorate in mathematics and logic in contemporary music.
