With the artiste Olivier Capparos, he prepares creative radiophonic workshops for France Culture. The two composers have collaborated in this way notably on Kitty Hawk, le sable et le vent, first performed at the Grand Théâtre in Rheims in 2008, and Le puits et la dune, first performed on France Culture in 2014.

He then studied at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory and then at the Paris Conservatory, notably with Alain Bancquart, Gérard Grisey and Betsy Jolas. He then went on many artiste residencies, in particular at the Villa Medici (1992-1993), the Casa de Velázquez (1997-1998) and the Villa Kujoyama (2002). He was subsequently appointed director of the Saint-Cloud Conservatory.
