A French composer born June 12, 1955 in Plessis-Robinson.
Patrick Roudier studied composition and music research first with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel at the Paris Conservatory (1979-1982), then with Mauricio Kagel at the Centre Acanthes (1981), Thomas Kessler at the Basel Music Academy (1983) and Pierre Henry, whose music assistant he was at the studio Son-D (1984-1985).
Roudier has composed acousmatic works as well as works for soloists and electronics. He has also written for the stage, collaborating with choreographers such as Joëlle Bouvier, Régis Obadia, Françoise and Dominique Dupuy (B.A.CH./Gmbh, 2001, commissioned by the French State).

A pupil of Ivo Malec, Betsy Jolas and Gérard Grisey at the Paris Conservatory, François Paris won a First Prize for composition and was then a laureate of the International Besançon Competition for La chair de l'aube (1992). In residence at the Villa Medici (1993-1995), he subsequently obtained a CA teaching degree for music school direction.
Director of the CIRM and the festival Manca, he taught composition and made regular appearances in France (Fondation Royaumont, Nice Conservatory) and also abroad (Berkeley in California, Moscow Conservatory, Peking University, Shanghai Conservatory).

Adolfo Núñez studied composition and the guitar at the Royal Madrid Conservatory before completing his studies elsewhere in Europe, notably as a pupil of Francisco Guerrero, Carnelo Alonso Bernaola, Brian Ferneyhough and Luis de Pablo. He studied computer-assisted music with John Chowning and Leland Smith at the CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics) of Stanford in the USA, where he obtained a Master of Arts degree. He also obtained a diploma from the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales in Madrid.

Sylvano Bussotti began his apprenticeship of the violin at the age of five before entering the piano class of Luigi Dallapiccola at the Florence Conservatory where he also studied harmony and counterpoint. War, however, interrupted his studies though he subsequently studied composition as an autodidact. In 1956 he became a pupil of Max Deutsch in Paris and met Pierre Boulez, who introduced him to Darmstadt where became acquainted with John Cage.

Anthony Girard studied at the Paris Conservatory, notably with Serge Nigg and Claude Ballif. He won prizes for harmony, counterpoint, analysis, orchestration and composition (1980-1986), as well as a DEA in music history (1985) at the Sorbonne. He was then in residence at the Casa de Velázquez (1986-1988) and developed his style free of all restraints.
