International composition masterclass and seminar with Pierluigi Billone

This 4-day masterclass is open to students, instrumentalists, composers and musicologists of every age and nationality. Besides 10 individual lessons with Pierluigi Billone focused on works previously sent by the full-students, it includes a workshop with the violinist and violist Marco Fusi about Pierluigi Billone's “Iti ke mi” for viola and an evening concert during which Georg Friedrich Haas's “De terrae fine” will be presented in its first Italian performance. The last day, a meeting/interview between Pierluigi Billone and the musicologist Giulia Accornero will focus on some recurring themes of Billone's personal writings and it will be followed by the questions and interventions of the public.
