Composer competition ricordilab 2016–2019

ricordi berlin has announced a brand new program, ricordilab, that will provide the opportunity for up to five emerging composers to participate in a three-year collaboration with our publishing house. ricordi berlin will publish selected works and provide international promotion for successful applicants and will also support the laureates with expertise in the music industry.

our goal
we are looking for composers from various musical backgrounds to enrich ricordi berlin’s roster.
 
conditions
applicants must be born after may 30, 1976
applicants must submit scores and recordings of 4 works which have been performed or commissioned by at least one professional ensemble/orchestra (a recording of each work is obligatory). scores and parts need to be available digitally. the works must be for the following instrumentation:
2 works for ensemble (6–12 musicians)
1 work for large ensemble (more than 12 musicians)
1 work for orchestra
composers who are already published by universal music publishing classical are not eligible
