Musicians, be they composers or performers, have ever sought to go beyond the limits imposed by the instrument, trying to imagine by what new means their musical dreams can be realised.
From the player piano to the computer, via sequencers and synthesisers of all shapes and sizes, how can the evolution of these possibilities, together with the use to which they are put, be apprehended? Such are the questions for this encounter.
