José Javier TORRES MALDONADO
A Mexican composer born September 7, 1968 in Chetumal (Mexico).
A violinist by training, José Javier Torres Maldonado studied composition at the Conservatories of Mexico and later of Milan. He completed his training with Franco Donatoni and Azio Corghi, (Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome and Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Sienna), and with Ivan Fedele at the Strasburg Conservatory.
