Bérangère MAXIMIN
A french composer of electroacoustic music born in 1976 in Reunion Island.
After a childhood spent on the île de la Réunion, Bérangère Maximin’s first contacts with music came in the metropolis with various rock and world music groups. She obtained a baccalaureate with music option, then joined the electroacoustic composition class of Denis Dufour at the Perpignan Conservatory, where she received a Gold Medal (1999).

Vincent DAVID
A French composer, saxophonist and conductor born in 1974 in Paris.
A saxophone player by training, Vincent David studied at the Paris Conservatory, where he obtained a First Prize for the saxophone in 1996. Distinguished in several international competitions for the saxophone, David has performed with prestigious orchestras and ensembles, taking part in contemporary premieres including Dialogue de l’ombre double by Pierre Boulez, Troisième Round by Bruno Mantovani and Trame XIII by Martin Matalon. He is also committed to improvised music and jazz through his encounters with musicians such as Pierrick Pedron, Christophe Monniot and Jean-Charles Richard.

Isabelle SABRIE
A French composer and singer born November 3, 1965 in Paris.
Isabelle Sabrié studied singing at the Paris Conservatory in the class of Rachel Yakar, where she obtained a First Prize for opera in 1992. A soprano performing the repertories of early, medieval and baroque music, she also appears in many classical operas throughout Europe and performs contemporary song. She is in addition studying various forms of extra-European music and she studied musicology at the University Paris-Sorbonne.

David CHAILLOU
A French composer born in 1971 in Paris.
A pianist by training and pupil of François Samson at the École Normale de Paris, David Chaillou subsequently trained at the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory and later the Paris Conservatory. He also studied history and the history of music at the Sorbonne, where he obtained a doctorate with a thesis entitled La Politique sur la scène, histoire des oeuvres créées à l'Académie impériale de Musique de 1810 à 1815.

Alexander SCHUBERT
A German composer born July 13, 1979 in Bremen.
Alexander Schubert began his studies with an apprenticeship of the piano and the guitar. He studied computing and the cognitive sciences at the University of Leipzig (2002-2006) then turned towards studying multimedia composition with Georg Hajdu and Manfred Stahnke at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, where he obtained a master’s degree (2010). He continued his research work for a thesis on composition from gestural sensors.

Noriko BABA
A Japanese composer born February 2, 1972 in Niigata (Japan).
A pianist by training, Noriko Baba obtained a master’s degree in composition at the Fine Arts University of Tokyo (1998). She continued her apprenticeship in composition, orchestration, acoustics, analysis, ethnology and electroacoustics at the Paris Conservatory where, as a pupil of Paul Méfano, she obtained prizes for composition and orchestration.She also took advanced classes in her approach to electroacoustics as part of the composition and computer music course of Ircam (2003-2004).

Alex NANTE
An Argentine composer and conductor born April 5, 1992.
In parallel with his studies of philosophy and comparative religion at the Fundación Vocación Humana of Buenos Aires, Alex Nante studied the guitar, the piano, the continuo bass, conducting and composition. Obtaining a diploma from the UNA, the Argentinian National University of the Arts (2014), he continued his career in France, studying composition at the Conservatory of Rheims with Daniel d’Adamo, as well as musicology at the University of Paris VIII (2015). He then took advanced classes at the Paris Conservatory, notably with Stefano Gervasoni before preparing a doctorate at King’s College, London, directed by George Benjamin.
