Christina Athinodorou began her music studies with the piano, in Cyprus. She continued her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where she studied composition with Julian Philips and conducting with Alan Hazeldine. She subsequently furthered her composition studies with Philippe Leroux in Paris. In 2011 she obtained a doctorate at the Royal Holloway University of London.

She continued her research at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and obtained a DEA in music and musicology of the 20th century, presenting a dissertation on the Influences techniques et mode de composition dans le répertoire de l’Ina-GRM de 1960 à 1975.

A pianist by training, Pascale Lazarus studied at the Amiens Conservatory, the Paris Conservatory and the Grenoble Conservatory, where she obtained a DEM for composition in the class of Arnaud Petit. She initiated herself into jazz improvisation for two years in Tarrytown (USA) and continues to improvise, notably to accompany dance shows and classes. With an engineering diploma from the Compiègne Technology University, she followed a course at Ircam as part of a DEA in systems management.
