International Interpretation Workshop of Contemporary Lyric Art (opera)

In Créon (near Bordeaux, France), from February 16th till 24th, 2011

An intensive Workshop with role preparation courses professional training of vocal and playing techniques, and performing on stage. This workshop will be directed by a professional team (singers, musicians, stage director, stage designer and multimedia technicians) specially formed by Delta Ensemble, led by the artistic director and composer Jean-Paul G Noguès. During the workshop, some musical parts of two recent pieces composed by Jean-Paul G Noguès - the opera "Les Esprits de Garonne" and the lyric fantasy "L'Esprit des Lois" - will be worked as a matter of priority. The main roles will be allocated to the participants. Each of them will have to focus on 1 or 2 solo arias and to make part also of suggested wholes. Every musical quote will be directed on stage, and then live performed in public with accompaniment of an orchestra.

Working languages: French/English, professional terminology.

The workshop is open to professional opera singers and professional level students, all tessitura.

Specially for musicians (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, viola, cello, double-bass and percussions) during 5 days: February 20 - 24, 2011.

Multi-media Promotional Bonus: An individual multimedia presentation will be offered to all participants including auditioning stage performance, interviews, photos, CV... The presentation will be installed on a specially created web page and on other networks for professional promotion (Also available on DVD support).
