Meeting Ondřej Adámek

Cdmc

Composer 2e2m 2012
The compositional world of Ondřej Adámek, born in 1979, creates in the listener a confusion of the senses, even mild vertigo – in other words: pleasure. Through various contributions dealing with an already abundant body of works by a composer of still tender years, and not neglecting a glimpse of current Czech music, we shall try to bring out the qualities of the literally ‘gripping’ touch of his textures, to examine his prudent borrowings from foreign cultures and his relationship with electronics.
