A la suite de la pandémie du Covid-19 et aux mesures sanitaires, certains concerts ont lieu uniquement de façon numérique. Nous le signalons par l'ajout de la mention "en ligne".
The Cdmc presents a season of encounters, seminars and day study sessions designed to counterpoint the views of specialists and professionals and to spotlight composers and performers. Focussing on topical aspects of the music scene, they are organised in collaboration with the main players of musical creation: ensembles, centres for creation, festivals, etc., as well as with those involved in research, the universities and conservatories. Dédicaces (Dedications): these are encounters featuring newly released books, discs or DVDs.

International conference: Scelsi and France
Wednesday 02 April 2008 - 00:00 to Friday 04 April 2008 - 00:00
. 2, 3 and 4 April from 10h to 18h - Italian Cultural Institute, Paris
The year 2008 did mark the twentieth anniversary of the death of Giacinto Scelsi (1905 - 1988). On this occasion, and following the release of the three volumes of Scelsi’s writings by the publisher Actes Sud – Les anges sont ailleurs… (texts on music and art), L'homme du son (poetry), Il Sogno 101 (autobiography) – the Isabella Scelsi Foundation of Rome – in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute, Paris, and the Cdmc – was supporting and organising an international study conference « Scelsi and France » in Paris from 2 to 4 April 2008.
The conference consisted of five sessions and gathered many musicologists of various origins who presented the results of their research on the Italian composer.
The programme was completed by two round tables - one dedicated to Scelsi’s poetry, the other to Scelsi’s performers; five musical interludes were held during the sessions by musicians who have worked directly with the composer.
The conference was accompanied by two monographic concerts given by the Ensemble 2e2m and the Ensemble S.I.C.
An exhibition of biographical documents on Giacinto Scelsi was presented under the direction of the Isabella Scelsi Foundation and Luciano Martinis.
