For the upcoming International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt (July 14 to 28, 2012) young ensembles are encouraged to apply for the project ENSEMBLE 2012.
By September 2011 a jury will select from all submissions a maximum of 4 ensembles that will be granted partial scholarships to participate in the Summer Course and in the project. In the two-week Darmstadt work phase, overseen at all stages by a coaching team of renowned ensemble musicians, conductors and composers, the ensembles will each rehearse a program which they will present in concerts at the end of the course sessions. Ensembles of 3 to 12 musicians can apply for the project until May 15, 2011.
