The Cdmc holds a unique collection representing all aesthetics within musical creation. This collection has grown thanks to the collaboration of composers, publishers and Radio France. With a consultation area open to the public, the centre also affords access to many online resources through the Catalogue and the Gateway to Contemporary Music. A beacon of the latest music news with its website, the Cdmc organises encounters with the movers and shakers of contemporary music.

Call for participation in feminist research project
Due to your participation in Ars Electronica's activities or entries that you made, your work is part of the Ars Electronica Women in Media Arts Archive http://archive.aec.at/womeninmediaarts/.
This database collects all information about female artists who could be found in the Ars Electronica Archive. In 2017, it was opened to the public to enable contributions concerning female media artists in general. Still a work in progress, the archive is and will be updated frequently.
Research project focusing on female networks
One of our former colleagues, Elena Robles Mateo, is currently doing her PhD in networks of collaboration between women in media arts. Her research aims to track the interaction and active participation between female artists around the world since the 90´s in order to understand how women in technology-related arts are connected and which alternative ways of working they are using.
The objective of this research is to create an overview of the worldy flow of female artists in digital and electronic arts and to show how strong and of which quality the connexion between them is.
This research project is carried out at the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain, and the results will be published by the beginning of 2020.
How you can participate
You, along with other female artists around the world, can participate in this feminist research project. If you want to do so, please contact Elena Robles Mateo via elrobma@bbaa.upv.es.
She would like to ask you a short questionnaire about your ways of participating and your connections with other female artists with questions such as:
• Are you are involved in any only-female/feminist initiative/project/association/collective in arts and technology?
• With which female artists do you collaborate or have you collaborated with?
• Which female artists are important or do you consider to be key figures in this field?
